One of the surprises was a visit by Beth Sciumeca, Director of the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor, who stopped by with her family. She's pictured here beside our new partner panel.
Many thanks to all those who stopped by the Mohawk Towpath Byway’s booth at the Adirondack Sports & Fitness Summer Expo at the Saratoga City Center this weekend. The crowd particularly around mid day both Saturday and Sunday were impressive. It was a wide ranging demographic who visited the booth from young athletic types to history loving seniors looking for something different. There were many questions. Questions about access to the Mohawk Hudson Bikeway; connections with trails; the relationship between the Byway and the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor; cultural attractions; waterfront access for small craft; and other recreational opportunities.
Thank you, all of you, for the interest in the Mohawk Towpath Byway.
